Windows 10 store popup

I am on a fully unlocked and activated copy of Windows 10, and s mode is disabled. When I open a portable install, it says that i should go to the microsoft store to get it, and two buttons: Get apps from Store or Install anyway.

It also has an icon of this guy and a whiteboard with the windows store icon on it.

Go to Settings>Apps and Features. What is the current Setting of the option I attached in the picture?

    There is no dropdown menu like that in my menu.

    I will do the pending update.

    So you need to be an admin to make system-wide changes, like this.

    This computer is part of a network with the other devices (printers, fax machines, routers, etc...) in the house (Windows 7). Is that what you mean?

    PC is an acer Spin 5

    Edit: just realized it said i have to be an admin to choose where apps are from! Doh.

    Try updating to 1903 using Media Creation tool and if it fails let us know.

    The fastest way to get the upgrade is through Media creation tool or ISO file.
