Tabs on Microsoft Teams

Adding Tabs on a Microsfot Teams Site - Are all members of a Team site able to add a tab within a channel? Some Teams sites I am apart of, I am not able to add a tab, but others I am. Trying to understand what is the reasoning. Thanks.

    Thank you for the posting in our forum community.

    Regarding your description, for adding tab in MS Teams or channel, the “Allow member to create, update and remove tabs” option should be enabled under Manage team option in MS Teams by team owner of the specific team.

    Here is the screenshot about this option.

    If the above option is disabled in specific teams by team owner in MS Teams, we cannot add tab under that specific teams. Only team owner can add tab in that team.

    Note: Only team owner can enable or disable this above option in the MS Teams.
