CMG distribution point and local DP Sync

Hello,
Looking for some advice with SCCM and CMG.
I have a client with CMG implemented in SCCM.
There is a need to deploy a distribution point in another network location that currently can´t connect to the Managment Point.
The question is if it's possibel to implement a distribution point on that network and configure the CMG distribution point to sync the packages with the local DP. This syncronization woud be great because there are some machines in the network that have very strict internet access.
Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately this is not possible. CMG is itself a distribution point, independently from the SCCM architecture, working in parallel. In this case that you have a network section with limited access, yes, you should deploy local resources, or else figure a different network configuration such as VPN system to your SCCM site.
