Create Custom Permission Attributes

We are just getting started looking into Azure AD for a Business 2 Business SaaS application that will have high customizability. We are looking for a way to not only have custom roles, but we need to figure out how to also create custom permissions for the registered app to be able to assign to the custom roles and thus far I have not found how to do that.

Ideally we want to do this through an API.

Any help is appreciated!

For creating custom roles in AzureAD, you can do so by following this link. We also have documentation on the currently available app registration permissions for custom role definitions in Azure.

Referring to creating custom permissions for the registered app to assign the custom roles, can you expand more on that?

Are you asking if there's a feature where an App registration will auto-assign custom roles to users?

Are you asking if you can assign custom roles to an app registration?

Are you asking if you can assign custom roles to an app registration?why because we have several modules we need to restirct these module access based on user roles.for this we need to create custom roles.how can we create in Azure AD B2C.
