Outlook email pw reset from a non microsoft hosted email address

Hi all,

I need to reset an e-mail password for a non Outlook email, that is hosted from Microsoft Outlook.

The normal password reset way does not work. It tells me, that I have to contact my admin (which admin).

You can't reset your own password because password reset isn’t properly set up for your organization.
You must contact your administrator to both reset your password and to check your organization’s setup.
"SSPR_0011: Your organization hasn’t set up a password reset policy."

We don't have an admin and neither we have password reset policies. So how am I able to reset my password?

Since you have a viral tenant (one without a global admin) you need to do an Internal admin takeover in order to be added as a global admin so that you can Enable users to unlock their account or reset passwords using Azure Active Directory self-service password reset.
