User file folder icon became small in windows 11

Question

Hi all,

Today morning after starting my pc I saw that for an unknown reason (just) my user folder icon became small.
Have tried some things but nothing worked, to bring it back to normal.

Any ideas/solutions?

If I create a shortcut it works normally (icon size), like all the other icons on my desktop.

Hi HatziGr, I am Paulo and I'd like to help.

Have you tried unpinning all desktop icons and then restoring them to default? Go to Settings > Personalization > Themes > Desktop icon settings. Uncheck all icons then hit Apply. Once done, click on Restore Default and then select back the icons.

If that didn't work, try to clear the thumbnail cache
