Microsoft Teams Notification

We have a user who gets notified when another specific user gets online or offline.

I have looked and made sure that the user who is getting those notifications hasn't enabled "Notify when Available" option.

What I have done so far to fix this issue:

Deleted Teams cache

uninstalled and reinstall Teams

The issue persists and I would appreciate if someone could guide on where to start looking in troubleshooting this issue.

    I have looked and made sure that the user who is getting those notifications hasn't enabled "Notify when Available" option.

    Have you tried turning on the user's "Notify when Available" option and then turn it off to see if there would be any difference? You can do this through the chat or via the notification settings. See the article below for more details:
