How to configure on prime sql server in azure purview ?
Below steps i have followed but still getting an error as "failed to connect to sqlserver"
1.Installed SQL server 2019 in my machine then created SQL authentication
2.Create secret using key vault
3.Enabled Key vault connection in purview
4.Register the on prime sql server in data map--> sources
5. Finally tested the connection & it failed with an error as "Failed to connect to sql serverDB"
Could you please check and confirm whether the steps are correct or not?

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.
I see 2 different asks in this question
Failed to connect to sql serverDB
Purview is able to list all object from configured database
but facing a problem when trying to scan the database.Could you please help clarify what is the current problem? Is it while testing the connection or was your test connection successful and the issue is only while scanning your SQL Database? Are your trying to scan all tables under that database or a specific set of items?

Hi @Kavitha ,
It could be related to firewall issue but not sure at this moment. As mentioned in the error message, would recommend to file a support ticket for further investigation on this issue. If you don't have a support plan, please do let me know here.
