New Director Needs Help With Access

I am the new Executive Director for the Meigs County Chamber of commerce ( I need to know about our current Microsoft 365 account. How do I get access? What does our account consist of? Cost? How to get Word, Excel, etc. I changed the password and went under the business option and it tells me I'm not allowed to access. I'm not sure if our past director has this also on her laptop so I don't want to affect her personal account.
Need help so I can use this for work.

    Hi @Susan White ,

    the best way to get access and answers to your question is to contact the person (or department) who was or still is responsible for management of your M365 account.
    In most cases the M365 account is managed by the IT department.
