[Ubuntu on the WSL2] Fixed MAC Address with available connecting the internet.

Question

Hi Expert,

I'm a user using the Window 10 with working my job stuff in the Ubuntu on the WSL2.

Perfectly I've worked on this environment but, Recently I faced an issue to run the software needed licensing connection.
( I was really happy for working with programming and checking email in THE SAME OS and DISPLAY on my laptop concurrently. Undoubtedly, Microsoft is a brilliant pioneer. Whether this is strategic marketing or not.)

Anyway, I found there is not working the internet using static mac address from setting the Ubuntu environment. When rebooting the WSL2, It makes changing Ubuntu's MAC address.

Is there any way to use the static MAC address whenever I reboot the Windows 10 or WSL2?

As you already know, almost of the license uses a one mac address for giving permission to use the software. And the price of the one license I use is so expensive to get one more.

I'm looking forward to your kindly reply.

Based on these github posts, it does not look like there is a solution at this time. At least not from a point of view of setting the WSL2 to use a static MAC.
