Hello,

I'm using SharePoint Server 2016 on premise. I've created two surveys where explicit permissions are set for each for access purposes. In the surveys, SharePoint owners should be able to view all responses by exporting the results to a spreadsheet. However, end users should not be able to view the responses. I've created a custom permission level based on the Contribute permission level and unchecked the Read without Client Integration feature. In Survey A, I've granted this permission level to it and as a test user, I do not see the Export to Spreadsheet link as expected. I've also granted this permission level to Survey B, and as a test user, I still see the Export to Spreadsheet link. Am I missing how this feature works? Does unchecking the Read without Client Integration feature work for Surveys?

    Hi @Michele DuBose ,

"Read without Client Integration" Do you mean you unchecked Use Client Integration Features?

Please check the test user permissions and make sure you granted the right custom permission level.

Per my test, i can remove Export To Spreadsheet option by unchecking Use Client Integration Features in permission level.
