I am trying to use SQL Server Import Export Wizard to load some basic spreadsheets into a MS Sql database. I use this process monthly, with no issue. This month, I am receiving the errir "Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered on the local machine", whether I launch the wizard through SSMS, the executable, or any other method I can think of. Further, this no longer works from my laptop, or any of the three servers that I commonly use. All were functional approx a month ago. What has changed??? When I look at the database and query, it shows that I have the provider. It's as though some update was pushed out in the past few weeks.

Any suggestions on how to fix???

    Hi @Holly Osburn ,

    Microsoft.ACE.OLEDB.12.0 provider is not registered

From the error message, it seems to be a 32bit vs 64bit issue.

Check installing-the-microsoft-ace-oledb-12-0-provider-for-both-64-bit-and-32-bit-processing, you may install both 32bit and 64bit provider.

    Zoe
