Hybrid Exchange and autodiscover

Hy!

I have a simple question about the autodiscover record pointing. I have a Hybrid Exchange, all mailboxes migrated to cloud. In the future the mailboxes in being only in the cloud. I modified the autodiscover record to point to autodiscover.outlook.com. But what happened If I decide to create some mailbox in on-premise Exchange? Does the autodiscover works correctly if still pointing to autodiscover.outlook.com?

I checked it, and the autodiscover not working in on-premise mailbox if point to cloud.

    Generally speaking, in Hybrid you should point the autodiscover to your on-premises server, especially if you plan to create additional mailboxes there.
