What happens to a certificate when its examination has expired?

Once expired the certification will be moved under the Certification History tab in your Transcript
If you want to extend the validity then you have to renew the certification by passing the exam

is there a chance that we can renew the exams after the expiry? I had been stuck with critical domestic issues and need to renew them as soon as possible.

Can my Power BI Data Analyst Associate certificate be in a state expired in my transcript while I passed my renewal exam successfully before its expiration date?

I was checking my profile when I saw that my Power BI Data Analyst Associate certificate is in the state Expired since January 9, 2023, although I passed the renewal exam on November 22, 2022, please, can you help me understand such a situation?
