Legal Team have given us a permission to delete a user files and folder from his Preservation Hold Library. We were wondering if there is a way to bend the 30 days delay hold period so that we can delete all his files immedialty and free up the space?

    Hi @Aase Nomad ,

In order to avoid files being deleted by administrator removing a retention policy. Microsoft will start a 30-day grace period when a retention policy is removed from a site to stop the release of the hold on the site. We are not able to bend the 30 days delay hold period.

For Reference: Will Preservation Hold Library be removed after excluding a site?
