Hi

We are planning an environment, where users are not allowed to add any personal devices. All devices needs to be corporate owned devices.

With Win 10/11, iOS/iPadOS and MacOS, this dont seem to be a problem. We just restrict personally owned devices and use Autopilot and Corporate device identifiers.

But with Corporate device identifiers, there seems to be a problem with Android devices.

When I check from

https://learn.microsoft.com/fi-fi/mem/intune/enrollment/corporate-identifiers-add#identify-corporate-owned-devices-with-imei-or-serial-number

documentation, it seems that Android pretty much do not support MEM Corporate device identifiers.

What would be the recommended way to add identifier or to some other way mark Android device as corporate device, that will work to all Android devices?

@IMK , Yes, Google has removed the ability for apps to access hardware identifiers on personally-owned work profile devices. Here is a document for the reference:
    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/intune-customer-success/android-12-day-zero-support-with-microsoft-endpoint-manager/ba-p/2621665

To enroll these device, we con consider other enrollment methods like Android Enterprise corporate-owned with a work profile or Android Enterprise fully managed which will be enrolled as corporate device. Here is a link with the detailed information for the reference:
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/enrollment/android-enroll

    Hope it can help.

    Hi

So basically, if we do not allow personal Android devices, we can't register Android devices that are in use? We can register Android devices only from factory state?

Unless we set Allow for Android personal devices for the registering and then set to Disallow again after Android device is registered?
