New Windows 11 PC. SSMS never installed. Used different Service Accounts (Network Service; Local service; System) Uninstalled between attempts and remove MS SQL keys from Registry, Rebooted, ran as administrator. Tried Basic and Custom installs of 2019 and 2017. Anything else I can try?

"An error occurred for a dependency of the feature causing the setup process for the feature to fail."
"Wait on the Database Engine recovery handle failed" for these 3 items.

There is a known problem with Windows 11 reporting incorrect sector sizes for some disks. This article from Microsoft gives some advice for how to deal with this situation: Troubleshoot errors related to system disk sector size greater than 4 KB.
