Restoring redirected folders server - offline files and folders

Will be restoring data to a new server for a client this weekend. The old server was the redirected desktop and documents location for all the users in this branch office (offline files and folders enabled). When I create this new server, and redirect them to the new location, how do I ensure that their local copies of their offline files take precedence over what's been restored to the new location on the new server (they've been working off the cached copies for a couple of days)?

    Hello @Ryan Wilderman

The Folder Redirection system will detect the last version edited from the same file and will keep the most recent. In case you are trying to recover a damaged file by a user, please ask the user to remove the damaged copy of the file from their computer before restoring the data.

Hope this helps with your query,
