Upgraded Cloud Management Gateway from classic to VMSS and now status is "error"
hello all,
i had a working Cloud Management Gateway in my MECM 2107. It was a "classic" deployment model. i saw it was recommended to convert to virtual machine scale set. i followed the guide and didn't see any visible issues, but now all i see is "Status: Error". according to the connection analyzer it says the CMG service is not running. i try and start it but it returns to the same state of "2" i do see this in the cloudmgr.log "VM scale set <CMG Name> does not exist and cannot update the service configuration.
my classic was working and the conversion is not. can someone please help me?
