Can we bind OPCPublisher module To an ASA job module at Edge level ?

Hello,

I would like to filter data at IoT Edge level, does it work to establish the flow ?
on premise: OPC UA server => [OPC Publisher Module => ASA job Module broker] IoTEdge, Then To cloud: => Event Hub => Time Series Insight

It seems that OPC Publisher does not allow additional routes ...

Hello @Palichleb, Guillaume What would be the expected payload size and properties sent? What is the main reason to choose this Architecture flow? any cost or performance considerations? Just wanted to know!!!

Hello,
The goal would be to create a short loop to filter data in case of "out of range" value, have a reactive local response in case of abnormal value through direct function or rising a flag in a device OPC Flag.
our downstream devices have no cloud capabilities. We are looking for the simplest way to send back an alarm to our device at IoT Edge Level.

ASA job would filter data out of range for us then will write it in a file or blob storage for example which one could be read by our system.

Here's a tutorial to deploy ASA modules on IoT edge: Tutorial - Stream Analytics at the edge using Azure IoT Edge | Microsoft Learn

Your route definition should look like "telemetryToAsa" route in the sample with "SimulatedTemperatureSensor" replaced with "opcpublisher"
