Windows Server 2016 - MPIO Discovered disks - Not suitable for cluster disk

Good afternoon,
I've been pulling what is left of my hair out trying to figure out this issue so I decided to reach out to the people way smarter than myself. I have two windows server 2016 nodes added into a windows server failover cluster. They both have disks discovered utilizing MPIO that are the exact same size and are accessible by both nodes. I've verified that they are able to be brought online, shared, and accessed by both nodes. No matter what I do I cannot add the disk as a cluster shared volume. It states that there is "no disk suitable for clustering". I wanted to first ensure what the disk requirements are for a disk to be added. I've read hundreds of posts that say the disk needs to be online and posts that say the disk needs to be offline. I've seen posts that say that it needs to be online with a letter on both systems. I've seen posts that say that it needs to be online on one. Or that it needs to be in a folder utilizing a volume mount point before the cluster will recognize it. Any information or assistance is greatly appreciated

    Hey,

Did you format your drives as NTFS/ReFS? You need to format drives to see them as an available storage in Failover Cluster. The following article should help with configuration:
