System Center Service Manager recovery key password lost

One of our admins left the company and we had to uninstall Service Manager from the server and when we tried to reinstall it we released we had to restore the secure storage backup key. The issue is we don't have the password. Does anyone have a way to recover this password? Or are we just going to have to rebuild our server and start the install over again?

Thank you,
Zach

    Hi,

Unfortunately, recovery of the password is not possible if it is lost or forgotten. The best way is rebuild our server and start the installation again.

    Back up the encryption key
