need help with understanding DO.

is it good to enable this for the endpoints? or it might just take content from laptops on WAN as well so better to use peer caching etc and disable DO via GPO.

pros/cons, are there more cons than pros of using DO on our endpoints?

    You should never ever disable DO. DO is Windows functionality used by many things, most of which have nothing to do with ConfigMgr and ConfigMgr only leverages DO for a couple of different things, so in the context of ConfigMgr, this question actually doesn't make sense.

    Also, while the article that @Kalyan Sundar posted is relevant, it's outdated and incorrect on its assessment of DO.
