workstations GPO windows firewall block access to port 25

Hello all

we have an anonymous internal relay configured in Exchange 2016 onprem. The remote ip ranges on the connector include the entire network. We want to prevent windows 10 devices from using the smtp relay, and we were thinking we could deploy a gpo to the workstations that configured the windows firewall to prevent access to port 25. The reason i am posting this question is i want to get feedback from anyone that has either considered this method or has deployed this method, and was it successful ?
