Azure certificaion renewal

Question

My Azure certification expires in September 2022. So if I take renewal exam lets say on March 2022. Then what will be the next expiration date of my Azure certificate. Either

1. Certificate will get expired on March 2023
   or
2. Certificate will get expired on September 2023
