Based on my research on the error you provide, I found that it can be resolved by modifying the registry. Please locate the path and create values like below:
Registry Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER
Registry Path: Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity
Value Name: NoDomainUser
Value Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1
(Note: Serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Before making changes, back up the registry to restore it in case something goes wrong.)
