SCCM 2012 R2 Site Recovery failure. Cannot download prerequisites due to 404 errors

JayJay 1 Reputation point

I'm trying to recovery our SCCM 2012 R2 server after a system crash. I have downloaded the ISO from the VLSC and attempted to re-install, however, the installation fails as it cannot download the pre-requisites. If I check the logs and manually visit the links, the files are generating 404 errors.

I have also tried running the pre-requistite download utility on a different machine, but that fails too.

This product does not go end-of-life until July 2022, so I should be able to re-install without an issue up until that date.

Error log:

Yes, gives 404 me too. It looks like you need to create MS support case for this.

    Hi JJ,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

1,Agree with @ yannara, the link also shows 404 for me.

2,You can also search the file on your site server to see if you have downloaded it locally before. As shown below. If yes, please select "Use previous downloaded files" option and point it to your folder on the "Prerequisites Download" page.
Please review the screenshot to search the file:

    Hi JJ,

I happened to have a local copy of the download files previously and here's the link:

Not sure if it works and you may try it by yourself.

    Best regards,
