Details: undefined There are no resources within the workspace, other than those which have been automatically generated when creating it: Built-in SQL pool Linked services with SQL and the default storage account Another instance of Synapse (different resource group but same environment) has connected to a different repo in the same root without issue. Hi @Jonathan Parker , Thanks for sharing the required details. I reached out to PG team and they took a look at the telemetry of your workspace. However, they need to perform further deep investigation to resolve the issue. Their suggestion is to report this issue from the portal, submitting a support request. According to the details you have provided, it looks like you are trying to set up GIT repository for your Azure Synapse workspace. However, it's throwing error when do try to do it.

I tried to reproduce your scenario.

Created a brand new Azure Synapse analytics resource .

Created new repository inside Azure DevOps

In the synapse workspace, filled up necessary details for setting up the GIT repository .

I didn't face any issue and successfully connected my synapse workspace to the Azure DevOps GIT repository. Please have a look at the images:

It looks like you have privilege issue in Azure DevOps project. Kindly make sure that you have Owner permission in the project where you are setting your GIT repository.

We are facing same issue while configuring the DevOps Git repository in Synapse Analytics.
We see this error in the logs many times,

"Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://dev.azure.com/X/Y/_apis/git/repositories/synapse/items?scopePath=/&this.api-version=1.0&versionType=branch&version=tst&recursionLevel=Full' from origin 'https://web.azuresynapse.net' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource."

How can we resolve this or what might be causing this issue ?

We have Synapse workspace provisioned in Switzerland North. We have our Azure DevOps Git in different directory. We had this git connection on synapse earlier & data factory. We had to re deploy synapse, after redeploying we aren't able to configure Git anymore, we are getting this error.

Please let us know if any solution.

Hi,

I have the same issue in West-Europe.
Synapse Workspace is in West-Europe and Azure Devops is also in West-Europe. Both in the same tenant.
In Azure DevOps I am a Project Administrator, so I don't expect it's the permissions there.
