As per the description shared, we understand your account is temporarily locked and you would like to unlock the account so that you can work on the assignments.
If our understanding is correct, if the account is temporarily locked, the account needs to unlock from the Azure Active Directory or Office 365 Admin center by the IT admins of the Office 365 organization. Reference: "Your account has been locked. Contact your support person to unlock it, then try again." error when signing in to Microsoft 365.
So, I would like to suggest you contact the IT admin of the organization and ask to unblock your Office 365 account.
