Splash Screen Pictures

My question if for Microsoft. When my computer starts up a beautiful picture comes up before my usual desktop does. The pictures change periodically. They are stunning and beautiful and I think they are part of Microsoft Windows. Is there any way I can find out more about the photographs? Thank you for reading this question.

    Those are Windows Spotlight images, and yes they are beautiful

    A quick way to find the geographic location of one of those images is to take a quick pic of the image, then go to https://images.google.com/ and drop that image in the search box . . .

    A good source for those images, which is updates daily is this website:
