I purchased Windows 10 license from Microsoft Store to activate Windows in Bootcamp. now I want to uninstall Windows in Bootcamp and run Windows on Virtual Machine like Parallels Desktop or Virtual Box instead. I have ever deactivated the license in the previous installation but now it's linked with my Microsoft account.

So how can I deactivate the license that linked with Microsoft account? is it the same method that we use to deactivate other licenses?

    Hi Phil.

See here for how to do this: https://winaero.com/blog/how-to-deactivate-wind...

You can also remove the device in your Microsoft account online settings, but what's most important is when you activate a retail license on the new PC that it registers the new hardware signature associated with the key now - which may require getting help from Support. Even if the Digital License remains on the old PC what matters is the hardware the key is reassigned to in MS Activation servers.

    Hope this helps.
