I have an issue with newly built machines. After PXE is completed, we are adding machines to required AD groups to install specific apps install. There are few apps that are struck with the "Waiting to begin instalation" stage. I added same apps to different machines, the application got installed successfully(so application-related issue not there). I targeted some other applications to the affected machine (newly built machine) , the new application got installed (So no client issue). But only the existing apps are in the same stage ( waiting to be installed).
Does anyone help me on this issue.

    Hi,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft MECM Q&A forum.

1,Do you have multiple DPs in your environment. If yes, it seems that the client could not get the required applications from its DP during OSD. Please make sure that the boundary group is configured correctly and the applications are distributed to DPs associated to the boundary group. A similar thread for your reference, the solution is to distribute all the required applications to related DPs.

2,If the issue persists, we can review below client logs to see if there is any further information: Smsts.log, CAS.log, AppEnforce.log and AppDiscovery.log. Refer to:
    SCCM APPLICATION INSTALLATION WORKFLOW
Note: This is non-Microsoft link, just for your reference.

Hope it helps. Thanks for your time.

    Best regards,
    Simon

What version of CB are you running? Also, have you checked the client side logs?
