We want to migrate from Exchange 2013 to Office 365.

We have only 6 mailboxes, where every one can be reduced to 1GB so in total max 6GB size. What I've find so far that Hybrid migration is recommended.

But I've find option that I can use simple method with exporting every mailbox to .pst and then just importing to Office365. But I've not find anywhere that this is recommended option of migration for small number of mailboxes.

Is there any downside of using .pst migration comparing with Hybrid? Thank you

the only real down side is that it may break some old meetings and cached entries, but otherwise, with 6 mailboxes, I would just export to a pst and import back in to a 365 mailbox. I wouldnt set up hybrid for that. - or even a cut over migration.

Old meetings or cached entries are not deal breaker for us. We will follow you advice and migrate with pst files. Thank you
