Software vulnerability assessment is provided in Defender for Cloud and more prominently in Defender for Endpoint. Outside of these solutions you might be able to devise some sort of custom solution. Ther might also be some aspects of this in Intune or Endpoint Configuration Manager. The process essentially takes a software inventory, compares it to the CVE list from NIST, and the provides insights like high risk vulnerabilities, version distribution, and end of life software.
