MDT - Pause before first gather?

Question

It looks like when I try to deploy through PXE my Intel Gigabit CT Controler loads after first gather (the one before choosing task sequence) so any rule based on MAC is not working. I thought about making a 1s or 2s pause before it. Is there a way to do it?

It seems you asked the question in reddit forum too, I think mtniehaus's answer provides a good idea, we may try to modify the scripts to add a pause before first gather.
