I am using Office 365 and when looking at the account settings I see duplicate Outlook .pst files. Please see the screen shot. Can I remove the one that is not the default file?!

    Hi @William Wolfe ,

    Welcome to our forum!

Of course, you can remove this data file. Just click "remove" above your screenshot. Do you have any concerns? If you are worried about data loss, it is recommended that you export items to a .pst file for backup before removing it.

In addition, considering that the screenshot you provided contains personal information, I have hidden it in order to avoid privacy disclosure. Please remember to hide your personal information before uploading.

Since the outlook.pst file is referenced twice in this screen, does deleting the duplicted actually delete the file or just a shortcut to the file. If it actully deletes the file, then both entries in this table are deleted. Please clarify. If the file is deleted, do I restore it and create the account again?
