Can i use Microsoft Teams with Office 2016?

As title stated, currently my whole office uses Office 2016, and was wondering if i have to switch to Office 365 to use Teams

Hi joon27,

For using Teams, I'd like to share with you that

  1. You must have an Office 365 for Business subscription which containing Teams services.
  2. Your business email accounts must have been assigned Teams licenses.

If you meet the conditions above, then you would be able to use Teams.  For more details, you can try to confirm it from your admin for further help, thanks.
