Re-create the built-in Administrator account after

Good afternoon.

The built-in Administrator account became inaccessible as it started crashing the machine before completing the login process. It was therefore deleted. The user with Administrator rights continues to function.

I wish to recreate the built-in Administrator account.

Could you please advise on the best way to do that?

The PC affected: CPU Intel i7, 32GB RAM, 2x2TB SSD. It is in a workgroup, not a domain.

S/W is: Windows 10.

Edition: Windows 10 Pro
Version: 22H2
Installed on: ‎17/‎10/‎2022 (updated from earlier Win10)
OS build 19045.3208
Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19041.1000.0

There are suggestions of using the Registry, but I'd prefer to be confident that I can get the in-built Administrator account back and properly functioning.

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Are you referring to the Administrator account that is built into all Windows installations?

If you are, open Command Prompt as Administrator, then run this command and press Enter to enable that account.

net user administrator /active:yes

This seems to have worked.

The account in question was deleted after the PC refused to boot when that accountwas enabled.

However, your trick has re-enabled the Administrator account, without the previous no-boot issue.
