Hi, Amanda Molina
Welcome to the Microsoft Community.
Thank you for your feedback. I understand that you are experiencing issues with IPv4 not being able to access the Internet but IPv6 is connected. Here are some troubleshooting options:
- Reboot the router to clear possible caching and connectivity issues.
Enter the router's management interface to ensure that the DHCP server is enabled and properly configured.
- Make sure your network adapter drivers are up to date. You can download a copy from another device and install it on your computer.
- Refresh the network configuration:
Search for CMD in the search bar, select Run as administrator, and enter the following commands in order:
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
netsh int ip reset
netsh winsock reset
netsh winhttp reset proxy
Restart the computer to see if the problem can be solved.
- Make sure the firewall or other network security software is not blocking IPv4 traffic.
To diagnose the problem in more detail, you can provide information about the output of ipconfig. You can follow these steps and share some of the key information:
Open a command prompt, type ipconfig /all and press Enter.
I will send you a private message where you can send me a screenshot of the results returned by this command.
I look forward to your feedback, which will help me locate your issue.
