Hi,

I´m using MS Speech Studio for Audio production (text to speech) and I was wondering, if I can track the audio time and the costs, that has been generated for each project?

Azure offers a lot of tracking options such as an overview of all costs for a resource. But is there something, that shows the costs and audio time of each project under a resource?

Hi, thanks for reaching out. It seems you'd like to track usage and cost of Azure Speech service. One option is to go to your Speech Resource in Azure Portal > Under Monitoring > Click Metrics > Filter based on metric you want to track. Another option is to use cost analysis, this document provides detailed overview on how to access usage and costs for your resources.

Hi,

thanks for this information, I have already seen this function, but I´m looking for something different or I couldn´t find that what I´m looking for under the metrics. I was wondering, if there is a possibility to track the costs for project folders under MS Speech Studio.

Currently I can only track the costs for all projects under a resource group. But if I create different project folder under one resource group I haven´t seen anything, that allows me to track the costs for each project under the resource group. Do you know, if there is something like that?

Hi, there's no cost tracking feature within speech studio itself. Cost tracking is done through Azure Portal (within your Speech resource under metrics or cost analysis tools). Unfortunately, the level of granularity you're seeking for 'project' cost tracking isn't supported at this time. I'll be glad to forward your feedback to the product team. Alternatively, feel free to share your feedback on ideas portal where you and others can upvote to enable product team prioritize this feature. You can also select the feedback blade under Speech Resource > Monitoring > Metrics > Feedback bade (at the top) to share feedback for product improvement. Thanks.
