Pictures, Objects and Screen Shots cannot be viewed in Word or Outlook. I have already tried adjusting the Advanced Settings as per previous questions.

I recently upgraded to Office 365 and since that time I am no longer able to see Pictures or Insert screen shots into Word or Outlook.

I have tried previously mentioned troubleshooting techniques as seen on this site - including "uncheck" picture placeholders; and "checking" show drawings and text boxes on screen.

Nothing seems to work, and I require this for my work. Please help!

Thank you

    Hi @Michelle Hoogveld ,

    Welcome to our forum!

In order to verify your situation, could you please provide some related information for further research?

    • Does this problem occur with some pictures or with all pictures?
    • Does the issue also exist on the web side?
    • Please also share some screenshots about the issue's symptom and the error message.
    • What's the version of your outlook desktop client(File>Office account>About Outlook), please first ensure that you have updated to the latest version of Outlook(File > Ofice Account > Update Options >Update Now)

From your description, you have already taken some troubleshooting, are you referring to this official article: A picture or an object may not appear in a Word 2010 or Word 2007 document?
In Outlook, you can try the methods provided in the article: https://www.datarepairtools.com/blog/cannot-see-images-in-outlook-emails (Note: Microsoft is providing this information as a convenience to you. If the issue still continues, considering that the issue also occurs in Word, it is recommended that you use the Office uninstall support tool to completely remove and uninstall, restart, and perform a fresh installation of Office.
