Create virtual machine hangs at review+create?

Hi; I'm trying to create my first virtual linux box following the directions in a ms press book on azure fundamentals. using a newly created free account I've selected all the options set and it's been cycling in review+create for almost an hour now. Is there a way to identify what I missed and/or why this seems to be taking so long?

    Hi @Doug OLeary ,

    We have also experienced this "hanging" when creating a VM in very rare cases. So far it has always helped to reopen the Azure portal and create the VM again.
    The reason for this issue might be a "minor random hiccup" in the deployment/review process sein.
