Visual Studio Tools for Kubernetes

Visual Studio 2019 had a feature called "Visual Studio Tools for Kubernetes" that would create helm charts for your containerized applications. We used it all the time.

Since upgrading to VIsual Studio 2022 I no longer see that option in the VS installer. Checking in the visual studio marketplace I only see a version for 2019. I saw one recommendation to use Bridge to Kubernetes but that only seems to work with Visual Studio Code not Visual Studio. And I am not sure if the functionality is the same.

Is there some feature for Visual Studio Tools for Kubernetes available in 2022? Why would such important functionality be removed?

Thanks
Brad

I got Bridge to Kubernetes installed on Visual Studio using the Extensions functionality but.... I don't see what it does.

If I go to add -> container orchestrator the only options I have is:
    "Container Orchestrator: Service Fabric"

    Whereas previously I had:
    Kubernetes/Helm
    Docker Compose

We used both of these. I suppose we could do this manually by hand but it was really handy to be able to just add it as needed.
