I am trying to migrate a list from SP2010 to SPO. Due to some user error, I migrated the list once to the correct Team site, but I needed to do it again. So I deleted the new list, and emptied out the recycle bin on the Teams SP site.
Now, when I try to run a new migration, I get errors like this for all 453 list items:
"http://<LOCALSERVER>/sales/Lists/RMA Form/18_.000","https://<MYSHAREPOINTSITE>.sharepoint.com/sites/SalesTeam/Lists/RMA Form/18_.000","18_.000",".000","0","Item","Failed","SERVER FAILURE","Errors or timeout for Server Processing the file:Fail to lookup folder name. The item may exist in other list or site in the same site collection. Or the item is in the recycle bin","0x01710004","c2cbc81f-de8c-4acf-a9a5-e19748901992","c2cbc81f-de8c-4acf-a9a5-e19748901992","0","5ff12973-dfed-4bb9-9735-94028249f725","1","442da421-1116-4677-90a6-2b378d44a2ce","<LOCALSERVER>","Item does not exist. It may have been deleted by another user."
When I look at the SPO/Teams site, the new list structure is created, but there is no content. Also, if I use the exact same migration steps, but point it to a different Team than the 'SALESTEAM" shown in the error above, the migration works fine. It seems like the migration thinks these items still exist in the new location, but it has all been deleted.
I also have tried other methods like granular backup and restores, and such, even using Power Automate to try to move the list from a temp site to the correct site. However, when I attempt other approaches, I lose data such as comment history or attachments, both of which I need to retain.
