How can I set a private endpoint for my Azure Postgres server with Basic V1 config?

Actually I wanted to configure a private endpoint for my Basic V1 Postgres server, but I cannot see any option for adding that. Whereas in a General purpose postgres DB there is a predefined option to set a private endpoint. Should the DB be specifically of General purpose?
Any help will be appriciated

Hi @Ashutosh Sharma , welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

As I understand you want to set up the private endpoints on Azure Database for PostgreSQL - Single Server for Basic Tier.

Unfortunately configuring the private endpoints on Basic tier is not supported as of now, and it is only supported in General Purpose or Memory Optimized pricing tiers

However I would suggest you if it is possible to try Flexible Server instead of Single Server where we configure Private Access using VNet integration which will make sure we don't have any public endpoints available to access the server. At the same time flexible server is more cost effective compared to Single Server:

Please let us know if this helps or else we can discuss further on the same.

Is private endpoint supported for PostgreSQL Flexible Server? Or only Single Server?
