You cannot use Outlook for that. If you are looking for a UI-based solution, you can run eDiscovery/Content search in the Security and Compliance Center, then export the results. Or you can export programmatically via EWS.
Can Emails be Exported from an Outlook Group?
Originally posted in Microsoft Community:
I've created an Outlook Group and need to export emails from this group to a .CSV file. The instructions for Import/Export don't work -- the group doesn't show up on the import/export list. I believe this is because the group is not a folder in my inbox. I've tried to copy and paste the emails from the group to one of my inbox folders, but that doesn't work either.
There must be a way to do this, but I certainly can't figure it out. The screenshot shows the group whose emails I'm trying to export.
As you can see in the export, the group does not show up on the folder to export list.
My company uses MS Office 365 ProPlus, by the way (Microsoft Outlook for Office 265 MSO (16.0.12527.20612) 32-bit.

2020-09-01T06:19:46.84+00:00 Outlook Import/Export feature indeed could not export items in Outlook Group.
To export these items to a local .pst file, as michev said above, you could try searching the emails in the group via Office 365 content search and then export the search result. And according to my research, this article: Search for content might be helpful to you if you try the content search method.

2023-07-19T08:21:55.7233333+00:00 Pertaining to one of you actions you mentioned, whereby you want to copy the emails from the Group into a folder in under you inbox, the only workaround I'm aware of is to multi-select emails and forwarding them to yourself. Thanks.
