I need help recovering my Microsoft Authenticator

Hello. During the war in Ukraine, my phone was destroyed. It has Microsoft Authenticator installed. Unfortunately, I was not logged in and no backup was created. Facebook's two-factor authentication was tied to the authenticator. And now I can't login to facebook without microsoft authenticator. Can you help me recover my authenticator data? I hope very much for your help.

I’m sorry for your situation.

Authenticators are not recoverable (for good reason).

However you should be able to contact Facebook to get authenticator disabled from your account.

Of course you’ll have to have another way to verify your identity to them, such as your email address and your phone number (assuming you’ve replaced your phone!).

I've contacted Facebook support 10 times already. They answer that I had authentication configured only by the Microsoft authenticator. By SMS or email has been disabled. And they can't do anything. They advised me to contact Microsoft support to restore the authenticator.
