VDI Onboarding to Intune & Defender for endpoint

Hi All,

Need some advice on below please

I have VDI in Non-Persistent mode, I would like enroll all the devices to Intune and onboard VDI machines automatically. Should i use Intune method for existing machines and VDI script for upcoming new machines

we have Windows 10 & Wk12 R2 later OS

Please suggest

Windows for business | Windows Client for IT Pros | Devices and deployment | Configure application groups

    Ideally you would follow the configure-endpoints-vdi for the MDE enrolment. For the already deployed ones, yes you could use Intune for the on-boarding process.

    Remember the Server OS is not supported by Intune in this regard.

    In addition to Intune method for existing machines and VDI script, you can also use startup script via group policy. Here is a link for a detailed description of the process that you must follow.
