How can I get the code from authenticator app if I need a code to sign in?

For some reason my authenticator app doesnt have code for my email anymore, and I only had authenticator app as my verification, no phone number etc. When I try to log in to authenticator app it asks me for a code from the app itself. How can I get the code if I need the code to sign in?

    I would like to understand your previous statement...

    When you mentioned "my authenticator app doesn't have code for my email anymore"... Did you mean "Backup codes or the one time password code"?

    I meant that my account isn’t in my Authenticator app anymore, it used to be there for whenever I’d login into a new device and I need to verify, and then I’d get the code from there.
