Lost access to account and purchases

Question

So last week I noticed that I couldn't log into my Xbox account; password wasn't being accepted.
I tried resetting my password but noticed that the email on the account for recovery was changed to a ******@rambler.ru address.

I tried a whole range of things to restore my account to no avail and had to resort to creating a new account.

Some things that are very worrying here; I can no longer access my OneDrive which contained a bunch of proprietary documents etc and, less worrying, my migrated Minecraft account and all of the Minecraft Marketplace purchases that my kids paid for.

I can't find a single place online to contact Microsoft regarding this so have resorted to posting a message here; I hope there is somewhere someone can point me to in order to get this resolved!

True, but my Xbox profile is tied to my microsoft account (containing all of my OneDrive data, etc) which was compromised; I just noticed it when logging into Xbox.

If an account access problem then also try resetting via the account recovery form
